Ed Thompson of Scout.com reports that Virginia Tech defensive end Noland Burchette is among the first of the undrafted free agents to sign with the Atlanta Falcons.

Burchette (6’2″ 259) was a productive player at Virginia Tech, tallying 137 tackles and 10.5 sacks during his career as a three-year starter.
