Adam Caplan of Scout.com tweets that Mississippi State middle linebacker Jamar Chaney will visit the Falcons this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The 6’1″ 240-pound linebacker started his last two seasons in the middle for the Bulldogs. He is coming off his most productive season where he had 90 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions. He missed most of the 2008 season with a leg injury, going down in the season opener, but not before he recorded 12 tackles. As a sophomore in 2006, he played outside linebacker.
He is a fast linebacker that could potentially move back to outside linebacker if he were drafted by the Falcons.
