FalcFans Podcast – Ep. 113 “Good Ol’ ’98 NFC Championship Game” Part 1

FalcFans Podcast

Allen returns to the podcast to join Aaron in doing commentary over the first half of the 1998 NFC Championship Game between the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings. But before we go down memory lane, we discuss Joplo Bartu’s rescinded suspension, the Falcons defensive line rotation, and reminisce about the lineage of Falcons middle linebackers from Jessie Tuggle up to Paul Worrilow. Once the commentary goes, we start a “good ol” drinking game, discuss 1999 commercials, Eugene Robinson, Randall McDaniel, Randy Moss vs. Odell Beckham Jr., Dan Stryzinski, Jamal Anderson vs. Michael Turner, Ashley Ambrose’s old Madden ratings, Tim Dwight vs. Eric Weems and whether Brad Johnson was one of the most underrated quarterbacks of the past 15 years, among many, many other things. The commentary for the second half of the game will be available in a couple of days.
