FalcFans Podcast – Ep. 79 “An Unusually Positive Podcast”

Allen and I are joined by Matt Chambers of The Falcoholic to heap praise on the Atlanta Falcons following their Week 1 win over the New Orleans Saints. We discuss the plethora of positives from the Falcons win and whether the Falcons have a new style of offense and if it’s an improvement over the old one that featured tight end Tony Gonzalez. We also preview the Falcons Week 2 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, before Allen and I finish with our usual “Around the League” segment by picking Week 2’s winners. We also share our thoughts on the career of former Falcon defensive end John Abraham, who may be on the brink of retirement and whether he is deserving of enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I should warn you that there is some NSFW language at the very end of this episode.
