Falcons cut Fudge

September 7th, 2009

Updating previous reports, the Falcons announced today that they released safety Jamaal Fudge in order to make room for recently signed cornerback Brian Williams. Fudge joined the team at the beginning of last season, played in 11 games, mostly on special teams. He started the season finale in place of an injured Lawyer Milloy, and finished the year with 11 tackles on defense and 2 on special teams.
