Falcons cut three more

The team announced another set of roster moves today by releasing three players.  The Falcons cut tight end Ben Hartsock, cornerback Von Hutchins, and defensive end Willie Evans.

All three players joined the team last season. Hartsock started 11 games for the team last year, finishing with 3 receptions for 26 yards. Hutchins missed all of last season with an injury. Evans spent the final month of the season on the team’s practice squad.

Roughly $1.7 million of Hartsock’s remaining bonus money will accelerate against this year’s cap in dead money. In the case of Hutchins, the figure is roughly $1.75 million.
