Thursday’s pro days include: Boise State, Maine, Middle Tennessee, New Hampshire, New Mexico State, San Diego State, South Florida, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State, UNLV, and Western Kentucky.
Boise State features the biggest named prospects with wide receivers Titus Young and Austin Pettis, as well as safety Jeron Johnson. San Diego State has a pair of wide receivers in Vincent Brown and DeMarco Sampson that could get drafted. South Florida also has a few potential late round prospects in DT Terrell McClain, DE Craig Marshall, DE David Bedford, DB Mistral Raymond, and C Sampson Genus. Also on NFL teams radars are New Mexico OT Byron Bell and Southern Illinois CB Korey Lindsay.
So far, the Falcons have been confirmed at three of the pro days: Boise State, South Florida, and Southern Illinois.
Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Falcons sent their secondary coach to Boise to check out safety Jeron Johnson, among others.
Adam Adkins of the Tampa Bay Tribune reports that all 32 teams are represented at USF’s pro day. Early reports on the workouts indicate that DT Terrell McClain ran a pair of 40 times of 4.8 seconds (with wind) and 4.9 seconds (against wind). OC Sampson Genus put up 28 bench reps of 225 pounds.
