Falcons Pro Day Round-Up 3/29

March 29th, 2011

NFL.com’s Gil Brandt reports that the Falcons were at the University of Texas pro day on Tuesday, as all 32 teams were represented.

Among prominent prospects were defensive end Sam Acho, and corners Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown, all three of which are projected by most to be taken in the first two rounds of the draft.  Williams clocked a 4.44 in the 40, and Brown a 4.40 flat. Also impressing was guard Michael Huey, who at 304 pounds, benched 225 pounds 35 times, along with running a pair of 40s at 5.16 and 5.18, and recording a 33.5-inch vertical jump.

Also holding pro days on Tuesday were Coastal Carolina, UCLA, and Utah. No word yet on whether the Falcons sent reps.
