But that’s not all that happened this week for the Falcons in pro day and draft-related news:
Tony Pauline of TFY Draft Insider reports that the Falcons worked out a pair of UCLA prospects in linebacker Jordan Zumwalt and wide receiver Shaq Evans.
Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller reports that the Falcons have scheduled meeting with Central Florida running back Storm Johnson.
CBS Sports reports that the Falcons were in attendance at the University of Washington’s pro day this past Wednesday. There they didn’t get much opportunity to see running back Bishop Sankey or tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Sankey elected to rest on most of his Combine numbers, only doing positional drills and the long shuttle. Seferian-Jenkins is still recovering from an offseason injury that will prevent him from working out for any teams prior to May 8’s draft. However, he is expected to be medically cleared by the time the draft rolls around. Both are projected to be potential second-day draft picks.
Quarterback Keith Price was able to take advantage of the extra eyeballs with a solid workout.
The Falcons showed up at Utah State’s pro day on Tuesday.
