The NFL announced the Falcons schedule today. Based off last year’s records, the Falcons have the league’s fourth toughest schedule and will feature at least two primetime games with Sunday and Monday night games.
The Falcons will open the season at home versus the Miami Dolphins on September 13. In Week 2, they will host the Carolina Panthers. Their first road game will come in Week 3 as they travel to New England to face the Patriots. The Falcons bye week comes in Week 4.
Following the bye, the team travels to San Francisco. They follow up with a home game against the Chicago Bears will be on Sunday Night Football on NBC. In Week 7, they will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. In Week 8, the Falcons will face the New Orleans Saints in the SuperDome on ESPN Monday Night Football.
In Week 9, they host the Washington Redskins. Then they have two road games against the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants in Weeks 10 and 11. They follow up with three home games versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, and New Orlean Saints. In Week 15, they will play another game in New York versus the Jets. They follow up with their final home game versus the Buffalo Bills on December 27 in Week 16. Their final game is a road game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on January 3 in Week 17.
