Jay Adams of Atlanta Falcons.com reports that the Falcons have signed offensive tackle Mark Ortmann. Ortmann will fill the roster spot vacated by Quinn Ojinnaka who was traded to the New England Patriots on Sunday night.
Ortmann is an undrafted free agent out of Michigan. He was a two-year starter at Michigan, predominantly at left tackle, starting 25 of 36 career games. He was originally signed by the Carolina Panthers this spring, but was released by them in June.
