Nolan Weidner of the Syracuse Post-Standard reports that Syracuse defensive tackle Arthur Jones is scheduled to have a private workout with the Atlanta Falcons.
Jones will be working out in front of at least 18 NFL representatives this Tuesday, likely to include the Falcons (although unconfirmed). Jones was unable to participate at Syracuse’s pro day on March 4 due to him recovering from a knee injury that caused him to miss the final three games of this past season. It also forced him to sit out for all-star games and miss working out at the Scouting Combine. According to Jones himself, he now feels 100 percent recovered.
Once considered a potential late first round pick before his injuries, Jones stock lies somewhere between rounds two and four according to Weidner’s report.
