Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that East Carolina wideout Dwayne Harris will conduct a private workout for the Falcons today. The Falcons met with Harris during the Senior Bowl and Combine over the past two months.
The Falcons have an upcoming workout with Troy wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan on Thursday. Harris is considered one of the better slot receivers in this year’s draft class, and it seems likely that hte Falcons are focusing on upgrading their wide receiver corps this April.
The 5’10” 203-pound receiver ran a 4.55 40 at the Combine. He had one of the better 3 cone drills among wideouts at the Combine, clocking 6.77 seconds. Harris was fourth in the nation last season with 101 receptions as a senior. Harris will conduct his pro day workout on March 23.

Mike Carmin of the Lafayette Journal & Courier reports that the Falcons were among the teams present at Purdue’s pro day this past Friday. On hand to likely see one of the top defensive ends in the class in Ryan Kerrigan. The 267-pound end had an impressive Combine performance, and stood on all of his numbers. He recorded impressive 4.71 40 time, 33.5-inch vertical jump, and a 7.18 3-cone drill, outpacing many of his peers.
