It's laughable to me when people get indignant about athletes when they have run-ins with the law. For whatever foolish reason they think that the minute you achieve fame and fortune, you somehow become smarter or less prone to do morally ambiguous or illegal stuff. Frankly, the infusion of fame and money SHOULD make you more willing to do those things. Because you're much more likely to get away with it. That's the trade off. You can be poor and upright or you can be rich and corrupt.
And why do you think people always are seeking fame and fortune?

True, money doesn't change people's character. Guess those intangibles came back to roost again. Why people seek fame and fortune? Hmm to have an easier life, be adored by other people thats a start. In fact there's one lady named Sarah Palin who as just done that making millions off her brillant intelligence.

Her management knew how to work the system and other people who paid her alot just were blind since she is a big celebrity. Now we are saying Mrs Palin going off into the sunset since the candidates will be announced soon and you don't here a peep out of her. Charlie Sheen, Mr. Bad Boy can do whatever and still gets paid because of star power, The normal person couldn't do the things Sheen has done and get hired. Well Britt as only one strike against him but just makes you wonder how intelligent the guy is running from the police.
