Todd Bowles will take over as interim head coach.

Sparano, along with Todd Haley and Sean Payton were all part of a Cowboys coaching staff under Bill Parcells in '04 and '05. Bowles was also on that staff. As well as current UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni, and David Lee, reputed innovator of the Wildcat at Arkansas and then with the Dolphins.

The luster is way off of Parcells if you ask me. I'm so glad he used us short term rather than long term!

Always a better coach than executive. Which I think was fairly known from his time with Jets where Al Groh was the head man. He gave that Miami franchise some much needed stability so that their making that next leap won't be as big as it would have been during the Wannstedt/Saban/Cameron years. He didn't heal the wound, but he stopped the bleeding so that someone else might come in and cure things.
