It still baffles me how Atlanta hasn't played William Moore for November then December when he was active for about three games. The guy played with some purpose last night and easily was the Falcons best defense player. He hits with purpose, made some key spots in coverage, and how about that tipped ball to help Franks with the interception. It's a shame he dropped an interception that was right in his hands because that would have really got the Falcons back in the game only down 15. Plenty of things went wrong, but Moore showed last night how good he can be. He's the only defender that showed up last night along with Grimes. Grimes made a few miscues early on but then he was dynamite breaking up passes and staying under control. Other than that major letdown by the 9TH RANKED DEFENSE (heavily inflated by playing rookie quarterbacks). I'm worried at the fact that the momentum going into the playoffs is dead since I'm 95 % confident that the Falcons will play the Saints in playoffs. I vote no confidence going into the playoffs after this one after having some confident. It's a good chance Ryan will be 0-3 in the playoffs and then people will start ripping on him. I'm not sure what the Falcons can do other than the fact score touchdowns. Offensive line was pretty poor, how did Clabo get voted for Pro Bowl by ProFootballFocus? He's been average at best this season. Anyway enough ranting, there are serious problems in Atlanta but you already knew that! All I'm saying is William Moore bravo last night.

I have no clue why they kept him off of the field. Maybe he was hurt? But our defense looked like a mess last night. You could see the difference in coaching between our team and theirs. Their MLB was adjusting to our offense in the way our offense tries to adjust to what defenses show. Our defense was all spread out with no one to cover. When manned up, our corners looked pretty good. When in zone coverage, they looked absolutely horrible. Of course, it has been that way FOR TWO FREAKING YEARS! Why bother paying Robinson if you're not going to use him as a cover corner?

After rushing Turner back in the second year, ATL has become very, very skittish with returning players before they are--in their eyes--fully ready; that's my guess.
