Isaac 'the' Bruce

Released by the Rams, he is one of the best route runners in the game and still has something left in the tank IMO. This old dog could teach our young pups a new trick or two. Thoughts?

We'd benefit from having him on our team but I am thinking we won't be able to afford him seeing as how WR is towards the bottoms of our list of needs....

but it'd put a smile on my face to see him in red and black...

AP wrote: Bruce had a salary cap figure of $10 million for next season and had been due to receive a $1.5 million roster bonus Monday, the first day of the free agency period.

The Post-Dispatch reported that Bruce rejected a three-year, $9 million extension.

If that's true, he's unlikely to come here. I suspect he'll wind up in Detroit, because they need a veteran WR like him to teach those young guys. It also doesn't hurt that Martz is there either...

But I'm not sure if his release is official now that the start of free agency has been pushed back to Thursday. Does that mean his bonus has been pushed back too?

Since the NFL is essentially pushing back the beginning of the fiscal year for the NFL I'd imagine that all bonuses and what not are also being pushed back. Otherwise they would be triggered in the previous fiscal year.
