It's official, the league accepted the NFLPA's proposal. I guess it means the new salary cap will be around $104 million.

profootballtalk is saying the cap could be around $102 million for 2006 and then $109 million for 2007.

Either way, I think this will make us a player in the FA market seeing as we were already or close to being under the cap if it was going to be $94 million.

So who do we go after first?

I don't think we'll be super-active, because there are still going to be 20-25 teams with more cap space than us out there. But I think now we can make a competitive offer for someone like Brad Hopkins or Darren Howard.
