Vinatieri?!?!?!

Postby starley657 » Sun Mar 12, 2006 8:34 am

As for the kicking situation, some chips started to fall into place yesterday, as Ryan Longwell signed with Minnesota and Matt Bryant re-signed with Tampa Bay. That would seem to leave only three or four destinations for Vinatieri, led by Dallas and Green Bay and followed by Atlanta and Indianapolis.

We have a decent kicker. Vinatieri would be a definate upgrade, but he comes at a costly price.

Vin would be nice but he would cost us way too much in the long run.

Our new kicking coach, Steve Hoffman loves the rookie kickers. So I doubt Peterson will be back, but I would love to have Vinatieri.

It's true that it would be nice to have the $$$ spent on kicker used at other positions, but I think I could mak an exception for Vinatieri.
