wow that would be nice. i'm thinking 3 years 8 million.

we NEED someone who will be an enforcer inside. i'm sorry guys but i didn't see that out of Hartwell before he went down last year.

In Hartwell's defense, I don't think he was used the way he could have been either. I think you'll see a difference this year with him healthy and being used the way he should be. But if we sign Milloy and Abraham, then watch out!!!

That and Hartwell was injured in the first game of the season. He never played at more than about 70% or so. They let Hartwell play injured too long.

Part of it was the fact that offenses did a good job of keeping Hartwell off the field. We had serious issues at nickel CB early in the year, and our opponents chose to exploit that by using a lot of 3 and 4-wide sets. That also had the added benefit of taking Hartwell off the field since Brooking and DeMo are our two lone nickel LBs.

Hartwell played great vs. the Eagles. Teams were smart to try and neutralize Hartwell by taking him off the field. He's a one-man wrecking crew.
