Panthers be scary ya'll

Postby Pudge » Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:32 pm

Their front whooped us last year. And they only got stronger. Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short worked over the Ravens guards last night, making Kelechi Osemele and Jah Reid look like they were career backups (although Reid appears to be so, but is very similar to Garrett Reynolds in being oversized at 6-7).

The Panthers secondary looks weak as hell, and obviously if the front can give Ryan time in those upcoming games, he'll pick them apart. But giving him that time is a question mark...

The Panthers are just one of those teams were the Falcons just don't match up well with. Mobile QB, etc., etc. I see a split with them this year, but it would not surprise me in the least if they swept us.

Our defense needs to step up not only against the Panthers, but they need to step up in general.

Man that D-line is scary and if Davis and Beason stay healthy which I doubt that entire front can be very good. However their back end is super weak they might have the worse safety duo in the league, but Norman has looked pretty good.
