From what I've read, it's really Banner that is coming off the worst than Lombo. I'm with you, I like Lombo. It was nice having someone that didn't mince their words all those years that he was on the NFL Network and Bill Simmons podcast when it came to talking about personnel issues for fear of pissing off the wrong people.
But ultimately, the Browns are in the owners hands. Haslam is taking a very hands-on approach to the team right now, and it could either put the team in the right direction or mire them in the cellar for another decade.
