Five reasons why the Atlanta Falcons can't beat the Saints

Postby mamador » Thu Sep 21, 2006 1:14 pm

I saw this on the AF.com message boards. It's very funny and I thought I'd bring it over here for ya'll to read.

Five reasons why the Atlanta Falcons can't beat the New Orleans Saints.

1: The Saints are undefeated when leading after four quarters.

Look it up if you don't believe me; the facts speak for themselves. When we hold on to a lead for 60 minutes, we simply can't be beat. So try as you might, when the clock reads zero, we'll either have the lead or we won't. And if we do--it's lights out for Hotlanta.

2: Drew Brees's passer rating is perfect when throwing a touchdown pass.

Another fact that nobody here can argue. When the ball gets into the end zone, Drew Brees's arm is absolute gold. In fact, if you negate all of his turnovers and incomletions, his passer rating is perfect all game long.

3: Reggie Bush has a remote control that can stop time.

This hasn't been validated, but I'm pretty sure that it's true. I heard some guy in Radio Shack talking about it.

4: I wonder how many people will respond without actually reading this.

sar-casm:
1. A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2. A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.
3. The use of sarcasm. See Synonyms at wit1.

5: Michael Vick is the most overrated quarterback on Atlanta's first team.

So you think Vick has a set of wheels? Guess how many yards Vick has when stuffed behind the line of scrimmage? That's right. None. You all keep bragging about your running game, but the truth of the matter is, the only time you break one of those long runs is when you get positive yardage. All we have to do is stop you from getting positive yardage, and you won't get anything. I know this is true, because I have a degree.

The bottom line? You have no chance to survive.

Make your time.

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. We're going to kill the Saints, and homers like this are just fooling themselves.
