Does Dirty want to scream about how bad our defense sucks again?

I still stand by my sucks comment. I have also already noted that our passing defense has improved but will faulter against a real passing attack (*ahem* New England *ahem*). Couple that with the fact that our run defense has been horrible thus far:

Defense vs. Rush
Overall Rushing: 26th (590)
YPG: 24th (118)
YPC: 29th (4.6)

And the most distressing of those stats is that we are giving up 4.6 YPC! Average running teams will find success against a defense playing like this. If that average running team has a real pass offense we are toast. Fortuantely looking at our remaining roster only Carolina really has a good passing and running game. Tampa without Cadillac is nothing, the Saints w/o Duece don't scare me, Chicago & Detroit can only run.

The only teams that concern me the rest of the way are Green Bay (If Favre remembers who he is and Green stays healthy), Carolina, Miami, and Tampa with Cadillac.

Thank God we get to play the entire NFC North. Outside of 4 of our first 5 games our schedule is really creampuff.

I don't have much reason to rant on here. There aren't any trolls to defend against and it's pretty rare I disagree with someone. It's also why I don't post nearly as much. I think 70% of my posts are from gameday.

Speaking of which... Pudge we need a chat room. It would take the weekend stress on the boards.

Ya know... I don't even understand how in gods green earth we are so much better against the pass this year then last year. Our corners are horrible and our safeties just average. The pass rush has dissapeared at times this year. Yet we've faced Brady (#2), McNabb (#3), Hasselbeck (#5), Culpepper (#16), Losman (#33), and still have a better pass defense.

Makes no sense to me.

Hmmm, good point. It makes no sense, and what is up with D. Hall? Some games he is Deon-like and some games he might as well be Rossum.
