he got fired for playing soft as snot and not attacking the qb and he did it again. almost any nfl qb given enough time can pick apart a secondary.
a 4man front that had gotten almost no pressure on the qb is not enough.
u've got to bring some blitzes, which they had some success with, if u get burned u get burned but better than sitting back and watching ur secondary get picked apart like that. the entire passing defense is predicated on getting some pressure on the qb.

At the end of the half we were all out blitzing Brooks to some effect, but the second half we sat back and let him pick us apart. If you are going to give up 10+ yards per play in a zone, why not just keep blitzing and hope you can get a sack or turnover because our secondary CANNOT hold up for more than 3.5 seconds.
