End of the A.J. Feeley saga

Postby Pudge » Mon Oct 24, 2005 12:39 am

As most of you probably know, Feeley was traded to San Diego last week for Cleo Lemon. The Dolphins also sent their 7th in 2006 to the Chargers.

So the Dolphins got the following out of Feeley:

3-5 record as a starter
Cleo Lemon

This is what they gave up:

2nd round pick in 2005 (Reggie Brown)
7th round pick in 2006
$3 million in bonuses and salaries

Basically, Cleo Lemon is going to really have to exceed expectations in order to allow the Dolphins to recoup on these losses.

Just thinking that the unsuccess of A.J. Feeley will mean few teams will be going hard for Schaub...at least this off-season.

Only time will tell. You continually say we won't get much for Schaub and I am wondering who you're trying to convince...lol

Personally, after thinking about it a good deal I think we should hang onto him for another season if possible for obvious reasons.

In other news, LaVar Arrington played today for the Redskins finally & led the team in tackles. Now the question is wtf were they doing not playing him?
