Andrew Lewis
Oklahoma State Senior

Pros: Does a good job blocking on the second level and out on screens and consistently hits his assignments there. Can get position as a run blocker.
Cons: Struggles when blocking on an island and not good when you have a guy lined up over him. Gets pushed back too much and doesn't have great footwork in pass protection. Is a waist bender that plays with poor balance. Lacks pop as a run blocker and doesn't get his hands up quickly enoguh in pass protection. Will have some bad snaps in the shotgun. Will whiff on some blocks and not take good angles as a run blocker.
Overview: There isn't much that Lewis does well at center besides blocking on the second level. He started as the left guard a year ago. For his career has 15 starts at left guard and 22 at center. I think he projects better as a guard on the next level.
NFL Forecast: While he doesn't have the strength and power you like in guards, he seems like he'd be less a liability there than at center. Unless he plays in a scheme that his job is essentially to take out the middle linebacker every snap, he's not going to be an effective pro. He offers versatility to play either guard or center, and some team might like that. But he's too limited physically and athletically and won't open holes in the running game and get beat too often in pass protection. Alex Gibbs might give him a chance, but besides that I don't see him sticking for more than a summer or two in the pros.
ATL Forecast: Lewis would basically be a body for camp in Atlanta. And since the Falcons seem to have a plethora of centers or players that can play center on the roster, he doesn't seem like a good bet to stick.
Value: He's worth a look in camp by some team, but don't expect big things. Undrafted.
