Well that only took over a year :clap:

to do what they denied and never cooperated with the entire time. They actually put the final nail in their own coffin for the ncaa. Wow, that has to be the dumbest handling of "issues" with the ncaa in HISTORY. :clap:

9 MAJOR violations (USC had one) and now canning the guy you tried to back like nothing was wrong the whole time sgt schultz style....

ncaa is gonna NUKE that "program" back to the stone age.

Agreed the U handled the whole thing horribly from the start til now. I guess it's good they stopped their losses but damn.

Now the fallout is from the past (2010) recruiting class that got lied to the entire time, and now is out in the learch. Its like the dude from animal house saying, "everythingggggggggggg is normal". Unfortuately Butch the snake oil salesman struck again.

Was watching Jim Rome Is Burning and I think he said it well, Butch was brought into resurrect that program, and he just made it 10x worse.

I am tired of people talking about how great Butch Davis was at UNC
and how he brought them back to relevance. T.J. Yates says that
Butch put them back on the map. The Charlotte News and Observer
had an article entitled "Davis Turned Heels Around." Here are some
facts from that Charlotte News and Observer Article:

* Davis never had a winning conference record or a team ranked in the
final national polls but his UNC teams made progress.

*Davis was winless in four games against rival N.C. State.

*UNC went 11-17 against other ACC teams except for Duke.

He will go down as the most damaging coach to the program that UNC
has ever had. So in a way, I guess that he did turn them around ...
right into the Lightning Sand to be sucked underground for 5 or more
years.
