Arrived as a defensive lineman but scouts are projecting him as a prospect whose athletic ability will serve him better as an O-lineman. As a pass rusher, loses leverage quickly. A former high school tight end, who was measured Wednesday at 6-7, 298. Plays with the mean streak and was involved in at least three skirmishes over the week of practice... The defensive linemen earning the most talk amongst insiders, however, is Stanford's Will Svitek - not because of his potential as a defensive linemen, however, but because at his size (6'7, 292) and relative athletic ability, many feel he projects better to the NFL as an offensive tackle.
He definitely looks like a project, but he definitely seems to have the size, athleticism, and aggression to work in our blocking scheme. He's a guy that is moving up the boards. He won't be at the Combine, but his pro day (March 24) could really improve his stock.
