Welcome to the War Room

This is the place to discuss the upcoming draft. We can discuss college ball, the draft, who the Falcons will pick, and anything else you can think of that is draft-related.

Which players do you like? Which players don't you like? You name it, it comes here. Enjoy.

Deangelo Williams whats your feeling about him?

I saw a little bit of the Memphis game 2 nights ago and the running back Deangelo Williams. While I did not see alot from what I can tell the kids is going to be special. He is big 220+ pounds just looks faster than the other players on field (think he runs in the 4.3) and can carry the ball alot.I believe he has an ijury but somewhere I read will be out for just 6 weeks meaning he can still work out.

If he were on the board when the falcon's took him I would have to take the risk and draft him despite the help the falcon's need at off line. When I watched Williams I got the feeling he could break it any time and go the distance. It reminded me a little of Bo Jackson when you would think if there is daylight no one is going to catch him.Remember I did not see alot of him but he can go through you or out run you, certainly a player to keep an eye on.

i agree i think williams will be very good
but i was hopin that miami would get him
as they are my second favorite team
and i really hate the idea of my Ricky Williams jersey going to waste
so if they could draft him and give him number 34
i would not be a total waste i would just have to find a way to get the R off

but he would be a great addition to this Falcons team
i just think we have bigger needs and he will be gone well before
we can take him after our needs are addressed

Welcome aboard. I enjoy coming here because it's almost all about football, not about racism, politics, and all of the other crap that goes on in TALK ABOUT THE FALCONS. <sigh>
