Overview:
Ollie Ogbu is a decent mid/late round UT prospect. He may not have the size initially to play in the NFL but if he bulks up and gets stronger he can stick around as a reserve. He has good quickness and a good motor which NFL teams will love, but his upside is limited.
Scouting Report:
Positives
- Experienced player - Productive - Quick off the snap - Plays with great leverage - Does a good job of splitting double teams - Gets good penetration into the back field - Has a nice swim move - Uses his hands violently - Can be a decent UT prospect at the next level - Good motor
Negatives
- Size - Undersized both height and weight wise - Needs to bulk up and get stronger - Gets washed out of plays too often - Short arms could limit him - Inconsistent disengaging and can’t make the play - Loses his balance at times and gets easily blocked to the ground - Not much of a pass-rusher - Struggles to finish tackles in the back field
