As you may have noticed, there has been a major change. We upgraded to the newest version of phpBB software. I think you'll enjoy the new features once you get used to it.
You should check out the
User Control Panel (link located at the top left). There are a lot more options which you can modify for yourself, rather than use the board defaults. Here's some new features that you may like:
BookmarksJust like it sounds, you can tag select topics, which will allow you quick and easy access to them later on.
Profile TabYou can add your birthday, so that there will be an announcement on the forum when you celebrate your birthday.
Board Preferences TabFor those of you that dislike word censoring, you can turn it off here, by going to the part that says "Edit display options"
Friends & Foes TabFriends are just want you think they are, users that you like and/or communicate with often (i.e. PM). By designating a user as a "foe" all his posts will be ignored by default and invisible. I'll warn you, although this sounds great, you might regret completely ignoring a user altogether. However, you can still receive PMs from foes. And no, you can't ignore me or the mods!
In time, I hope to "Falcon-ize" the look of it, but right now this thing is still about a month old, so everyone is still learning the ins and outs of modifications.
