The Packers are a publicly owned "commodity". I like this Idea. If the Falcons were to do the same thing, would yo buy-in as an investor? If tomorrow Artie were to relinquish 49%, and offer up the rest to the public, do you think you would make money? Would you care? I ask, because I explained the GB situation to my GF earlier tonight. I told that her I would gladly pony up $1,000 (that I really really really can't afford) to own even .000001% of the Falcons, and forevermore announce myself as an NFL owner at bars and whatnot.
So...
A) If you did buy Falcon's stock at whatthefuckever standard market value, would you expect it to go up or down after 2.5yrs (an incremental split between a standard tangible goods producing company and an internet stock )...and why?
B) Are you as retarded as me, and willing to blow a dude...A THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I MEANT A THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!...to say that you "own" a part of the team? Even if you know that your 1K investment will immediately drop to a $1 trade value? I'm honestly so dumb/blindly loyal that I would actually make this deal in a heartbeat.
