Is it just me, or does it really seem these clowns will get a deal done by next week?

Does it rate a Pudge Hand Sig, a 'Rolled Eyes' or a "Clap!" ?

At some point today, if not currently as I'm posting this, it seems like football will be back.

I must say you called it. You said they would wait to the last minute and reach a deal. I wonder what happened last week with the deal making. It looked like they were about to reach an agreement, but D Smith and Jerry Jones and Al Davis were pulling the deal off the table. Did it not seem like the owners finally came to thier senses and agreed amongst themselves ( pretty good considering Crazy Al ), and then the players couldn't get it together?

In any case, looks like it's a done deal.

Well, I said I thought we would be missing a few games because of their last minute talks. But since we're just scrapping the HOF game (which is a throwaway game anyway), I'm happy I was wrong about that.

I'm glad that I don't have to quit watching these clowns. I'm quite fond of this game. Would have sucked to have had to find something else to do during the fall/winter.

You know, I'm beginning to think that might have been a good thing. Maybe I'm getting old....
