Now, at least the potential is there that he might become the next offensive coordinator of the Falcons. He is an Erhardt-Perkins guy that did call the shots in Arizona when Kurt Warner was there. And at least he would appeal to Mike Smith because he's not a guy that shies away from running the ball.

Haley might work here. He has shown that he can adjust his offense to the players that he has... In Arizona, he had a good deep ball QB and good receivers... In KC he had a strong running game. He might jump at the chance to have the weapons that we have at this point in time.

I'd be fine with that, I think the Chiefs made a dumb move in firing him. They lost their best player on Offense and Defense in the first two weeks. They have lost their starting qb, I mean cmon he did a good job with the little talent they had left on the field.

It was oil and water in KC with Haley. Not well liked in the front office or locker room. They did what they did in spite of him.

Haley is a no-nonsense coach. Not a, "player's coach." What you see is what you get. And what you get is a guy that seems to know football very well, and can adjust his scheme/play calling to fit the players he has. Let Smitty worry about being the guy people rally behind, let Haley design the scheme to get the job done. I could see Smitty and Haley going toe to toe if Smitty wants the offense to be run his way. You would bring in a guy like Haley to run HIS offense, not to run Smitty's offense.

From what I hear, Haley is a "toxic leader" - a net negative. I am not sure he would mesh with what the Falcons are trying to do with team chemistry.
