Are We All God’s Children? Are we all God’s children? Does Satan have children? In these last days, these are polarizing questions, but only when one does not understand the writings and teachings of the bible.
John 1:12 states concerning Jesus, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name”. This verse of Scripture insinuates that there are some individuals who are not God’s children, specifically people who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
As expected, the bible backs up this notion when you compare Scripture with Scripture. The apostle Paul tells us in his letter to the church of Ephesus that God predestined us unto adoption through what was done in the Lord (Eph. 1:5). This is echoed in Galatians chapter 4, and again in Romans 8.
We as God’s creation should understand that what was done by Adam in the Garden of Eden affected us all. Adam died spiritually, and every person after him was born spiritually dead. The Lord called us “children of wrath” (Eph. 2:3), and the “sons of disobedience” (Eph. 2:2). In John chapter 8, verse 44, the Lord Jesus Christ is speaking to the scribes and Pharisees, when he says, “Ye are of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do…”
What’s being laid out for us here in the Word is that Satan has children. And before Christ, we were it. This is why we must be born again (John 3:3-8). When we become born again, we receive the life of God, no longer to be spiritually dead, but have everlasting life; Jesus Christ. God adopts us! This regeneration is only done through the sincere belief and confession of Christ.
There’s still time to be regenerated. Hurry
