I heard this am on 790 the zone. The source is Bobby Hebert, the cajun cannon.
According to him, back when the Falcons facility was in Suwanee, Bobby noticed Jeff was not working out with his OL and was being aloof.
So Bobby, who was considerably older then Jeff, told him 'Hey man. You should be working out with your OL. They protect you: you should buy into this and not work out all alone. Just some advice from an old-timer who's been around and seen a bit'
to which ( according to Hebert ) Jeff George looked him in they eye and said 'Go F8ck yourself, Old Man. Don't presume to even think about telling ME how to do my job!'
Hebert said there was some woods at the end of one of the outdoor fields. He pointed to the wooded area, and said
'Listen here you little sh*t. See those woods over there? Here's what I am going to do. I am going to stroll over there and hide behind a tree. In 5 minutes, you follow me and we will meet in the woods. Nobody can see us. Then we will settle this man to man. One man left standing. If your not a little chickensh*t I expect to see you there. If not, if you ever talk to me like that again I will beat you down right in front of everybody. Got me'?
According to Bobby, Jeff George never looked him in the eye again. And then went on to tell a hilarious story about him going in for Jeffy and immediately throwing 3 ints.
classic. I wonder how much of it is true?
