Falcons go on the road against the Lions.

Didn't see the game/highlights, but losing big to the Cards suggests the Lions have quit on Schwartz.

With the 49ers winning big, Falcons still have reason to play. Got to clinch home field, still keep playing like you mean it fellas so you can rest Week 17.

Great game on SNF but nevertheless, Falcons still have work to do. Don't mess around, get the win and then Week 17 Falcons can be on cruise control.

I watched the Lions vs Cards game yesterday and it is pretty simple if you take away Megatron you are golden. Just make Tony Scheffler, Kris Duram, or Mike Thomas beat you. Stafford would show patience for most of a drive and then would just show impatience and force a throw the two pick 6's he threw were horrible passes more so than Cardinals' defenders making plays. They didnt look like they quit but they did just not look that good.

Stafford is even less mobile than Eli so I'm expecting to see some major hits. I hope to see William Moore back this week, would like to see him in one competitive game before playoffs.

Stafford looked very bad against the Falcons defense a year ago. He's more "arm talent" than "grey matter."

I'd like to see the Falcons defense continue to build off its recent success and go in there and stomp the Lions offense. But given how incongruous (yeah, I know big word ) the Falcons have been this year, this will probably be more of the plodding game we've regularly seen from the Falcons this season.

It will be great if the Falcons build off this week's momentum, go up to Detroit and lay the smackdown on them. But I don't expect it to happen, nor will I take points off if they do not. It would be nice to see, in order to see this team building towards something in January, as the cherry on top, but not required.
