Collisions between 'backs and Defenders rarely end in fines.

As for coming back so quickly, I'm not surprised. I don't think there is much up there to start with, so another (and I think he has already had a few this year) isn't going to change much.

Don't know who hasn't read the quotes from DRob on Asante's mother passing, but they were quite poorly thought out..

I've never had a concussion that i know of but Dunta's comments seem pretty standard fair. What else are you going to say? I'veheard it said that grief counselors are advised to never tell a "patient" that "I know what you're going through." I've never heard Dunta interviewed a lot that I recall. so I won't speculate into his level of intellect. I know he brings the wood though and I like it.

Has to do with league rules on what qualifies as a defenseless player. Running backs are rarely considered defenseless unless they are catching a football. But the rules are basically once you've made a "football move" you cease being defenseless.

I've had a concussion, getting decked coming over the middle playing some pickup football with friends and landed on the back of my head. It can hurt a bunch. I cried like a little girl for about a whole minute, and then a minute later had no memory of it.

Robinson has never struck me as a person of questionable intelligence off the field (his public dogging of the Jaguars WRs withstanding), but certainly one on the field. Which typically means that you're not the brightest bulb off the field.

Is it wrong for me to be concerned about Moore’s health?

I am really concerned about Moore... how can you remain questionable for weeks on end without the HC breathing a word about it ?

It's a hamstring injury. What is interesting (and worrisome) is that it was a hammy that dogged him as a rookie, and ultimately led to him being shut down that year. About 5 weeks since he last played/practiced. It always seems that hammies really do take 5-6 weeks to heal.

He practiced today. Now the worry goes to Abraham, even though unless he can’t walk no shot Abraham is missing the game.

Healing and being healed enough to play being very different. These are super stubborn injuries easily aggravated.

Looks like Moore will be good to go for the game.. back in practice.

I remember a few years ago taking a rocket of a soccer ball to the noggin that I didn't see coming. I dropped like a sack of potatoes after a brief black out. I not-so-wisely continued playing.

While the memory of the shot is clear as day I was a mess the next day. I could barely walk straight and my vision was all jacked up a long with my equilibrium.

I have had 2 concussions, one not so bad and the other awful. One, I was in high school and ( please do not laugh) riding a unicyle, I fell off and caught the back of my head on a picnic table. At the time I was working at an amusement park called Kings Island, and I was out of it for less then a minute. They took me to medical and said I had a concussion and would miss the rest of the summer contract becuase they wouldnt let me ride again. It hurt, but it hurt more losing my summer job.

Then when I was in my twenties I was struck in the back of my head with an aluminum bat ( it was a mistake). That hurt like hell. I had this high pitched 'whine' in my ears and saw some interesting 'lights'. And I was unsteady for a day or two afterwards. Couldn't drive, etc..Loss of appetite, all that stuff.

I cant imagine what guy like these and MMA fighters and boxers go through having these things over and over again....

Back in my 20s I had a serious concussion that blacked me out for several hours. It was caused by bourbon. Head hurt like hell the next day, couldn't walk straight...but I still played that next day.
