Karma?

Postby AtlGraff07 » Sun Feb 03, 2013 11:36 pm

Seems as though San Fran was in almost the same exact situation we were in on that last drive except we had more time on the clock when getting the ball and were down 4 rather than 5. Anyways counting on the touchdown and not wanting to give the ball back you let then time tick, get to fourth, have a questionable holding/pass interference, and then get the ball back with basically no time on the clock. Both teams wasted timeouts in the 3rd. San Fran wasted another in the fourth but still almost the same situation. Harbaugh was flipping on the sideline because of the no call and although I agree it was holding, I couldn't help but love the no call after what happened to Roddy.

Remarkable in similarity. At least Smitty didn't continue crying to the press after the game.

I thought the same thing and I really feel like this is the best way for this game to end for me. Having to hear 49er fans deny the fact that Roddy was held and for them to spew garbage like if the ref didnt call it, it didnt happen. Well, well other than the karma saying I believe the saying is "The same thing that will make you laugh, will make you cry."

I dont know why, but I think I recall that name..Did this guy tour with Man or Astroman back in the 90's? I think I might have seen this cat in L5P..He was one of those 'rockabilly/psycho' dudes like White Zombie, right?

I may have this completely wrong, tho 8-)

Possible, I guess. Man or Astroman were from Auburn. His real name is Burns Lollar. A great friend of mine named Leeroi who is now deceased used to play sax with us. Before rehearsal one night Burns accidentally droped a cup of scalding coffee on his bare feet and broke the jack on his guitar when he recoiled. While he is off trying to treat the wound Leeroi shows up and I tell him about the accident. Leeroi says, "Oh man, I'm real sorry to hear that......is there any more coffee?"
