CB DeAngelo Hall
RB Beanie Wells
LB D.J. Williams
LB Dan Connor
QB Caleb Hanie

All got their walking papers today. They join:

S Quintin Mikell
WR Early Doucet
LB James Harrison
S Atari Bigby
S Adrian Wilson
CB Aaron Ross
S Dawan Landry
OG Bobbie Williams
LB Takeo Spikes
OT Eric Winston
K David Akers
OT Wayne Hunter

All got dumped last week. Anybody worth the Falcons looking at?

Mikell, Wilson, and Spikes are 3 vets I'd love to see Falcons pick up.

DJ Williams would be a nice pick up for depth and he can push Dent. If Deangelo wasn't such a diva still I would say he would be a nice depth pick up. That would allow us to keep McLain in the nickel and continue to develop him so that he can slide over and replace Asante when he hangs them up. Of the later list Wilson is who I would like to see he could be that in the box cover man that we all want plus he fills against the run like a two down LB.

Lots of great depth charter fillers out there for the Falcons to pickup if the price is right. Even plenty of 1-2 year starters to fill in as stop gaps until a longer term solution can be found.

Should be an interesting week... I don't expect much in the way of big dollar signings.
