for the starters. NOT ONE. If Smitty rolls out even one series with any of our Fabulous Five? He has not learned a damn thing. :snooty:

Here's something to consider...


In past preseasons, the Falcons have started their regular OL, and most of their defense minus players like Abe & Babs. Typically they are pulled after 1 series, but occasionally they will play an entire quarter. Seemingly dependent on how much work Smitty believes they need.

As for the starting OL, maybe 4 quarters oughtta do it... :whistle:

I agree with Pudge.... Usually I'd agree with your thinking on this Gus, but this year who are we afraid of losing on the offense line? I think they need more reps to see who will get better. I'm not talking about Ryan or Roddy or Julio or any past starters who haven't completely sucked in preseason.

Both lines are basically a crap shoot.

I believe Holmes was playing to find out how badly we needed a veteran that could become available. I don't think he got hurt so no harm no foul (:
