I think they used to be 7 or 8 days, but I know it was usually about a week between them. I thnk part of it is due to the fact that the season starts on a Thursday now.

I wonder if Vick's VT understudy Randall makes the first round of cuts or not. He has yet to see on field action.

I think we should at least give him a shot to play some. Mora said in a press conference earlier this week that Randall was the kind of guy to have on your practice squad. He said that he's a good enough athlete to play severaly positions therefor making him a great candidate for the PS. Anyway I doubt to see him on the 53 roster unless we cut Detmer and make him a coach. I don't know a lot of teams that carry 4 qb's, especially when it looks like were gonna carry 6 wr's

And at the rate Buhle is performing perhaps 5 Cornes.

Yeah we got some tough choices to make.....so which RB gets cut, Wright or Cobb, I think it'll be wright

I think Randall is going to be cut, so he'll have more time to clear waivers and the team can put him on the practice squad. But it is sort of odd that he has yet to throw a pass.

I think Buhl right now has to be the forerunner for the #5 spot, so I see him staying at least thru the final preseason game.

I don't think Wright or Cobb has beat the other, so they won't go down in this first bout of cuts. But if it were me, I'd keep Wright over Cobb. Wright I think is the better offensive player and unless the team plans on using Cobb exclusively on KOs (rather than Rossum) come opening day, then I think we should put Cobb on the practice squad and keep Wright.

But bottom line, I think whichever one is not kept will go on the p-squad, assuming they clear waivers (which will be tough).

Randall could just be camp fodder when it is all said and done. He's the closest thing to Vick that we can throw to the wolves for practice sake.

I think the idea is to let Randall learn on the PS without any pressure whatsoever and milk Detmer for his experience 1 more season. I feel confident that neither would have seen playing time anyways so I'm okay with that idea...
