At least our special teams know what the hell is going on.

Michael Boley is lights out: Forced Fumble (led to a TD), Blocked kick (led to a TD).

He's our most dangerous weapon defensively and offensively so far today.

Well our defensive Pro Bowlers have showed up today to make huge plays.

D.Hall - fumble return for a TD

D.Williams - forced the fumble & also returned a blocked field goal for a TD...also mad e a few tackles on run plays we actually stopped.

R.Coleman - Dominating the line with a big sack and a huge tackle for a loss on the goal line.

You can't hang the first half on the defense. Vick is playing like garbage today & a big reason why is DEZ WHITE....can we please get him out of the starting role, PLEASE????? His "great blocking" led to a holding call on a screen pass & he has dropped more passes this game than Clutchy Butterfingers has all year and one led to a pick. Oh and one was a sure TD.

That was Boley.

We can't stop the pass and the Saints rushed for 130 yards in the first half. Our defense sucks.

I'll say it again.

Our defense sucks, sucks, it sucks, sucks, sucks!

We are letting the Saints look like our offense! Combined Stecker & Smith are averaging about 6 YPC.

One thing is for damn sure... So far the offense is far more efficient under Schuab.

But our defense freaking sucks.

This was a very ugly win for the Falcons. The refs really helped them out in this game. The Falcons got outplayed by the Saints, just 3 mistakes (blocked FG, fumble, and INT) were the only things that kept the Falcons in this game.

I was telling my dad today, that we are not a worthy playoff team if we can't play better than this against a division rival.

The only real positive out of this game is that the Falcons capitalized on both the Saints and refs mistakes. But we can't play like this again, and expect the ball to continue to bounce our way.

I cannot gloat at all in this win.

You shouldn't gloat after any win. The Saints always play us tough &, yes, our defense is still playing poorly. Luckily the LB squad & Coleman stepped and made some plays or this game could have been ugly for us. I hope Vick gets to feeling better next week and Dez is not starting because they looked like garbage too. Props to Dunn for carrying us to the win.

Is it the age factor? Or people are just getting smarter(Learning his styles)

You might want to reconsider that statement when you consider this:

2004 Coleman Numbers:

first 5 games: 14 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 FF, 1 FR, 0 PD

2005 Coleman Numbers:

first 5 games: 12 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 FF, 0 FR, 3 PD

Rod is doing just fine...

Well for some reason, the hype just isn't the same as it was last year.

Probably because those of who really know football know that he is the best defensive player we have despite what Madden's rankings say. We have learned to expect him to make at least a couple big plays a game now and not be a total liability against the run, although we sacrifice him being a run stopper for his playmaking ability. I'd take Coleman over any DT in the league honestly and he is the best, most consistent player on the Falcons.

Congrats, you guys won the game. I just wish the refs hadn't decided the game for us. Both teams fought and the outcome was tainted. Saints played their hearts out!
