Doubled allowable signature length

Postby Pudge » Thu Feb 28, 2008 5:45 am

I didn't realize how little 255 characters was until I tried to add some stuff to my signature. Now it allows up to 510 characters in your signature for all those that want to include more stuff there.

I don't get your sig, Pudge. You're only talking about a span of two years, and it's totally different now. We have a new head coach and a new general manager. The statistics in the past, especially within just two years, is virtually useless now. I'm not a free-agent fan myself, and I'd like to build through the draft like most of us probably are by now, but I just don't get your point.

Actually Matt, it's 3 and 4 years. And those stats are league-wide, not just Falcons. The point is to show that if you're trying to build via free agency, you aren't because generally speaking the vast majority of free agents only play 0-2 years with their respective teams. How much can you build in 2 years?

You're absolutely right, and a lot of them did. But there seemed to be more "busts" than success stories when it came to the guys that signed long-term contracts.
