Hey Pudge, do we have open registration or do we require the admin to review all the registrations first before accepting them? Because I've convinced some members from the AFMB to join this forum by showing them some of your posts, but they say they're still waiting to be confirmed.

If it's closed registration where your registration is reviewed by the admin first before being confirmed, I strongly suggest we change it since I think this forum is almost there.

And I'm still waiting on Mozzie, I haven't forgotten what we've asked him to do for us.

Yes, it is admin approval. I checked this morning before the game and saw no new registrations, but I did just check 2 seconds ago and approved someone.

It became admin approval a few years ago when there was consistently a dozen or more spambots that registered on the forums. That doesn't seem to be an issue now with the new updated software, so I guess it makes sense to go back to it.

Mr. Offseason is a friend of mine in the AFMB. He's an NFL Draft enthusiast and a very knowledgable fan. Hopefully he'll find this place to be a good board to post in instead of just creepin on the Draft posts.

Good idea, but it was sure nice stocking up on all those drugs.

Yeah, I had to do the same thing over at Panthersfanz due to the spam bots and now actual humans bypassing the spam protection in order to bombard sites with crap. It's a little annoying to someone who wants to join now and post right away, but I always try to check several times a day. Normally at my site nobody has to wait more than a couple of hours at most unless they join late at night.
