Foxworth could be back

The Denver Post reports that the Falcons have opened preliminary negotiations with cornerback Domonique Foxworth, who is an unrestricted free agent.

The Falcons acquired Foxworth via trade in September and owe the Broncos a compensatory draft pick in this year’s upcoming draft. If the Falcons re-sign Foxworth, they will owe the Denver Broncos a sixth round pick as compensation. If the Falcons do not, then they will owe them a seventh round pick.

Foxworth started the last 10 games for the Falcons. He finished the season with 38 tackles, 1 interception, and second on the team with 11 passes defended, all of which came in those final 10 games.
