The Atlanta Falcons announced their injury report for their Week 16 matchup against the New Orleans Saints today, listing wide receiver Julio Jones as questionable after missing the entire week of practice for the second week in a row. Last week, Jones was a game-time decision that the Falcons ultimately opted to sit against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jones had suffered a hip injury at the end of the team’s Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Falcons head coach Mike Smith again indicated earlier this week that the Falcons would need to make a decision on Sunday morning whether Jones can play against the Saints.
Also on the report listed as question were guard Jon Asamoah and safety William Moore. Asamoah also missed practice this week after suffering a back injury midway through last week’s loss against the Steelers. Moore was able to participate on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday with a foot injury that also sidelined him last week against Pittsburgh.
Wide receivers Harry Douglas (foot) and Roddy White (knee) missed Wednesday’s practice this week, but both were full participants by Friday. Along with cornerback Josh Wilson (hand), they were listed as probable to play against the Saints.
