Mark Wogenrich of the Morning Call reports that Penn State linebacker Sean Lee has a private workout with the Falcons. No word on what exact date the workout is scheduled.
Per the report, Lee improved on his 40 time from the Combine where he ran a 4.72. And at today’s pro day in State College ran a 40 in the mid 4.5 to low 4.6 range. Lee has suffered from injuries the past few years. After missing all of the 2008 season with a torn ACL, he came back this past year and had 90 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks in 10 games. He is considered one of the top inside linebacker prospects in this year’s draft, but also has experience playing outside linebacker.
