Locked on Falcons Podcast: First Day of 2017 Free Agency

Locked on Falcons

Allen and I are recap the first day of 2017 free agency for the Falcons in today’s episode. We “celebrate” the release and brief Falcon career of Tyson Jackson, followed by a brief revisit of the 2014 offseason. Then we go into the returns of Courtney Upshaw and LaRoy Reynolds, before another lengthy tangent about the absurdity of Matt Kalil’s new contract with the Carolina Panthers. We express mixed emotions over the return of Levine Toilolo and whether or not he’ll have a larger role in the offense in 2017 than in past seasons. We then discuss the acquisition of Jack Crawford, where I express my low expectations for his potential impact in Atlanta before discussing Andre Roberts and other wide receiver options for the Falcons to sign.
